Under Armour – Testing & CRO
As part of a larger services engagement, I engaged to support Under Armour’s personalization, testing and conversion rate optimization program through Adobe Target.
We worked with the UA team to complete and ideate multiple tests over the engagement that leveraged Adobe Target & Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
The “Problem”
Over 90% of visits to ua.com are not authenticated, and 80% of orders were placed as a guest. A central goal for the personalization team was to increase the number of known users and drive new account creations on ua.com. An authenticated customer provided Under Armour with more first party data for personalization and led to improve customer life time value.

The Solution
We created a test to provide authentication options with value proposition messaging in the cart for both mobile and desktop. The hypothesis was if it was easy for customers to sign in, and they were informed of the benefits to doing so they would be much more likely to.
The Results
A 44% statistically significant lift resulting in an annual 441k incremental accounts authentications & 118K accounts created annually.
